"At the Zoo" Girl's Baby Blanket

I just LOVE crafts, especially ones that have to do with color and imagination and these blankets have all that and more! When I work on these blankets, I feel a sense of coziness, warmth, softness, and security. The child in me definitely comes out and it's at those times I wish I had children.

Blankets are something that just about everyone enjoys and when I have an occasion or a design in mind for someone, go out to get the material, then actually complete one, I try to imagine their expression, or better, the feeling they get when they snuggle up with it and get all warm and cozy! I feel like I had a hand in their comfort each time they use the blanket I made.

Most of all, the creative need in me is fulfilled (for the moment) and I often times want to make another one. I wish I could make these full time as they really aren't that difficult to make. Perhaps one day that desire can become a reality -OH how wonderful that would be!!!!!!
